Southeast Texas may not be on the top of everyone's list for a travel destination, but to me, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Despite what others may say, I see the unique charm and allure of the area. From the stunning array of flora and fauna, to the rich and diverse architecture, to the close-knit and welcoming communities, there is no shortage of photo locations that showcase the beauty of the area. From the lush forests to the tranquil bayous, each location offers a unique backdrop for capturing stunning photographs that truly reflect the essence of Southeast Texas. As a photographer, I take pride in showcasing the hidden gems of our region and using them as the perfect backdrop to tell your story through photography.

Growing up in Orange, Texas provided me with a unique opportunity to explore and discover the hidden gems of the Golden Triangle. With access to nearby cities such as Lake Charles, Deweyville, Beaumont, and Lumberton, every weekend brought the excitement of exploring new places and soaking in new experiences. As I grew older and started working, I found myself traveling all over the region, discovering new nooks and crannies that were perfect for photo shoots. These experiences helped me develop an intimate familiarity with the area and the best photo locations, long before I even considered pursuing photography as a profession. Now, armed with this knowledge, I can take my clients to some of the most breathtaking and unexpected locations for their photo shoots.

Bailey's Fish Camp, Bridge City, Texas

Bailey's Fish Camp Road is a hidden treasure that local fishermen have long known about. It has been a go-to place for many of my photo sessions, especially with those who call Orange home. I have even taken up fishing and crabbing here myself, and other than the 10,000 stray cats and litter - I love the calm atmosphere this location creates.

Pinewood Golf Course, Sour Lake, Texas

I had a client come to me looking for a location with willow trees, moss and a beautiful sunset, and we were able to find a great location in Sour Lake! This location is in a neighborhood so I recommend being quiet and courteous of the neighbors and golfers.

Downtown Beaumont, Texas

Downtown Beaumont has the charm of a big city...without the crowds! On the weekends the hustle and bustle of downtown comes to a stop (other than days when the city has events). There are SO many great places to take photos here. Local photographers have long used this location to snap the perfect wedding photos, senior portraits, or family photos.

Cow pastures in West Beaumont, Texas

With permission, you can use the many o' field in the north west end of Beaumont. At sunset, they offer the most gorgeous views of the vast Texas sky. Just be on the lookout for cow patties.

Cow Bayou, Orangefield, Texas

My high school alma mater - Orangefield. Small yet mighty, this little town offers some amazing photo location. This area is where I got my start to photography so it hold a special place in my heart. No bias here (maybe a little) but Orangefield has the BEST sunsets.

Studio 595, Beaumont, Texas

My brand new studio is my new favorite place to shoot. Long I was a natural light shooter only, but now that I've seen the light...control possible in a studio it's hard to go back.

And my favorite: Your Own Backyard

I have some clients who don't want to travel or have disabled family members who can't go long distances so I set up right in their backyard! So far, it's always been a success. My motto is: Any location can be a dream photo spot with the right mindset.
